In short: your files are processed entirely inside your own browser and are never uploaded to us. We can't see them, and we don't store them.

1. Who we are

FileStays is a service operated by PT SYNC SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGIES ("we", "us", "our"). We provide free, browser-based tools to merge, split, rotate and convert PDF files. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at info@filestays.com.

2. Your files stay on your device

All PDF and image processing happens locally in your web browser using open-source libraries. Your documents are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on our servers. When you close or refresh the page, any files you were working on are cleared from memory.

3. Information we collect

Files: None. We never receive your documents.
Payment information: When you buy a download, payment is handled by our payment provider, Paddle. We do not see or store your card details. Paddle may collect the information needed to process your payment and comply with tax and legal requirements. See Paddle's own privacy policy for details.
Basic usage data: Our hosting provider may collect standard technical logs (such as browser type and approximate region) to keep the service secure and reliable.

4. Cookies

We aim to keep cookies to a minimum. Our payment provider may set cookies that are necessary to process a purchase securely.

5. How payments work

Purchases are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, who acts as the merchant of record. Your payment data is handled directly by Paddle under their terms and privacy policy.

6. Data retention

Because we never receive your files, there is nothing for us to retain. Payment and receipt records are kept by Paddle as required for accounting and legal purposes.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you. As we hold virtually no personal data ourselves, most such requests relating to payments should be directed to Paddle. You can also contact us and we'll help where we can.

8. Children

Our service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it was last revised.
